Eusolex® UV-Pearls® OMC is a white aqueous dispersion of silica-encapsulated UV-B filter Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (OMC). It is enabling the development of very light formulations or pure hydrogels with a reduced dermal uptake of UV filter and low allergy potential for the skin. Eusolex® UV-Pearls® are hydrophobic UV filters made available for the water phase, for improving sensory, easy incorporation, excellent solubility and formulation flexibility. An increased overall photostability of sunscreens containing Avobenzone and OMC can be achieved by using Eusolex® UV-Pearls®.
